Heartland Soccer Association announces the appointment of Jeff Bingman to the position of Referee Director and Assignor.

Jeff has worked at Heartland Soccer for over 16 years as a Referee Assignor and Field Marshal. He found a true passion for officiating after he answered the call to work as a field marshal for Heartland Soccer while his daughter was playing in the league.

“I’m excited about the new role as Referee Director and Assignor with Heartland. I was trained by Gordon Crape, who is the best in the business, and I am honored to continue his work to teach, mentor and support our referee community,” explained Jeff Bingman.

“Jeff has been an integral part of our referee and field marshal program for a long time,” stated Heartland Soccer Executive Director Shane Hackett. “He will do a great job leading our program as we continue to recruit, mentor and train our referees to meet an ever-expanding soccer schedule.”

Heartland Soccer works with 2,000+ certified referees who are assigned to officiate over 10,000 games annually at multiple facilities through league and tournament play.
